Junior Player Privacy Notice
For parents and guardians — last updated June 2026
This notice explains what information LVL·UP Tennis stores when a coach adds an under-18 player to the app, and what rights you have as a parent or guardian. It supplements the full Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

LVL·UP Tennis operates a coaching planner app used by tennis coaches to plan sessions, track player progress, and build development programmes. The coach who works with your child uses LVL·UP as a tool — they are the data controller for your child's information; LVL·UP acts as the data processor on their behalf.

3. What is never stored for under-18 players

Injury and health records are structurally blocked for all under-18 players. The app does not allow a coach to log injury data, medical information, or health records for any player who has not been confirmed as 18 or older. This restriction is applied at the application level and cannot be bypassed by the coach.

4. Where the data is stored

Player data is stored in Supabase, a database platform hosted on EU-based AWS infrastructure (Frankfurt). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Only the coach who created the player profile can access the data — LVL·UP staff do not access individual coaching records in the normal course of operations.

5. How long is the data kept

Player data is kept for as long as the coach's LVL·UP account is active. If the coach deletes their account, all associated player data is removed from production systems within 30 days. You may also request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. Legal basis for processing

Where the coach has requested and received parental consent before adding an under-18 player, the legal basis for processing is consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@lvluptennis.com — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

7. Your rights as a parent or guardian

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@lvluptennis.com. We will respond within 30 days.
